I am building this big home for all the animals first of all to help each one of them and to keep Rocky alive, the friend that I had for 17 years. This is for all the animals that are hopeless and suffering.

To be the manager of this foundation is behind the job and the work that I have to do, because is not a simply job is the life of all the poor animals that are on the street of Albania suffering and being abused. Is to help and to give hope to the poor souls that need just love, care and protection.

Beside my work that is connected to the animals, I am an animal lover. When Rocky`s suggested me to be part in this foundation I didn’t ask for time to think because the answer was YES. I am more than happy to be part of this foundation, to help in saving and giving treatment to every animal that is in need.

This is Laika, and my name is Ola. We were blessed to have met the founding members of Rocky’s when this initiative was still on paper, but it was very clear that it would soon become a reality.

Considering how animals are treated in Albania by law and the people who are supposed to protect them, and also considering Albanians’ mentality regarding animals in general and dogs in particular Rocky’s will be the “safe haven” for these amazing creatures that give us so much love.

I have seen first-hand how Rocky`s care and how profoundly they love animals. Laika, for me, is an important priority; she has become much more than a family member. She is a part of me, physical and mental. I trusted her in the past with them, and I would trust her now to Rocky’s as she was with me. There are so many animals abandoned and mistreated, and they need a place where they can live the happy life they deserve.

I believe that the level of civilization of a society can be seen in the way it treats animals. Albania has a long way in this regard. I am positive though, that Rocky’s is an important step toward this achievement. Good luck to the team and thank you for the support and unconditional love :).
